Dolnick’s Furniture to Close

St. Louis, Mo.-based Dolnick’s Contemporary Furniture is closing after 87 years because the owner is retiring.

The retailer, founded in 1927 by Isidore and Gertrude Dolnick, will kick of its closing sale this week. The company is owned by Ryan Dolnick, grandson of the founders.

Dolnick’s sells product from a variety of sources, including Natuzzi, American Leather, Alf Group, Amisco, Huppé, Lazar and BDI.

“Over the years, Dolnick’s has become one of the Midwest’s leading destinations for stylish, quality contemporary furnishings at an exceptional value,” Dolnick said. “This sale event offers customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy brand furniture at going-out-of-business prices. We look forward to seeing many old friends during the sale.”
