Furniture Fair Hiring for Expansion

Home furnishings retailer Furniture Fair is in hiring mode for its expansion into the Dayton, Ohio, market.
A major furniture retailer in Cincinnati is expanding into the Dayton market, with plans for another location in the future.
Furniture Fair, based in Fairfield, bought the former Cub Foods building at 8245 Springboro Pike and plans to invest about $1 million into interior and exterior renovations, said CEO Rick Daniels.
Daniels said the company already had many customers from Springboro and other south Dayton metro areas, so the expansion made sense. The new player in the local furniture market could provide more price competition and will add local jobs and spend a significant amount on local advertising.
