Sweeney Succeeds Richardson at La-Z-Boy Case Goods

Furniture industry veteran Drew Sweeney has been named vice president to lead La-Z-Boy Inc.’s case goods group.
Sweeney is in charge of the company’s sales and marketing initiatives for American Drew, Hammary and Kincaid Furniture.
Most recently, Sweeney was vice president of sales and marketing for Hickory Chair Furniture Co. where he supervised all sales and territory managers, marketing efforts and merchandising. He was also responsible for managing multiple channels of distribution for upholstery and case goods products.
Sweeney began his career with Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co., a supplier of foam and metal to the furniture industry. During his 13-year tenure, he held numerous roles ranging from product manager to national director of sales and new business development.
Sweeney succeeds longtime employee Jack Richardson, a valuable member of the La-Z-Boy Case goods management and leadership team for 16 years.
