Leggett & Platt Names E-Commerce Manager

In the position, Healy will lead the development and execution of online sales strategies for the company’s growing list of e-commerce retailers as well as its brick and mortar customers.
Based out of the company’s Chicago facility, Healy will work cross-functionally with the CPG sales and marketing teams. He will assist internal and external representatives to manage dealer relationships, strengthen customer service for CPG’s e-commerce customers, and implement strategies that improve online sales performance and drive overall growth.
“E-commerce has been a significant growth channel for us and, given today’s increasingly digital world, we fully anticipate continued and accelerated growth in this arena,” said Randy Long, senior vice president of sales for CPG. “Will’s strong e-commerce background will help us to maximize our online sales potential while bringing added expertise and insight to both our internet and brick-and-mortar retailers.”
Healy’s e-commerce background includes previous positions in digital content strategy, online sales, marketing and promotions. Prior to joining CPG, Healy served as e-commerce director and content strategist for GatorChef.com, and senior trade marketing manager and content strategist for Sage Tree, LLC. His many responsibilities included researching and restructuring sales methods, overseeing client marketing and content strategies and improving digital shopping experiences for customers. Healy also spent several years as a consultant specializing in e-commerce creation, marketing and product promotions and has extensive experience working with such e-commerce retailers as Amazon, Costco, Walmart and other big box retailers.
