DataLink, a monthly fee-based service, will give retailers access to vendor photos, pricing, measurements and style in one, easy-to-use format for use on store websites, POS systems, social media platforms and digital signage.
"NAHFA DataLink is a game-changer for home furnishings retailers,” said Sharron Bradley, CEO of NAHFA. “This will help level the playing field between brick-and-mortar retailers and e-commerce giants.”
The association said DataLink, already populated with home furnishings SKUs from its growing list of manufacturers, will allow brick-and-mortar retailers to better compete with large online retailers. DataLink will also automatically update manufacturers’ catalog data, eliminating discontinued products and adding new products as they are available.
Pricing will vary based on the amount of product SKUs retailers need.
NAHFA is hosting three information seminars regarding DataLink at the Las Vegas Market in the Retail Resource Center located at B-1050. Sessions will be held Sunday, Jan. 18 at 7:15 a.m.; Monday, Jan. 19 at 5:15 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 5:15 p.m.
