2015 by in Executive Changes, Industry
Lighting and decorative accessories supplier Arteriors has named three people to its growing sales team.
Jim Bindman has been named vice president of sales for the Arteriors Contract division. In addition, Ben Howard has been named national sales manager of lighting, and Kevin Reilly has been named international sales manager.
“As Arteriors continues to expand our presence into new markets – both internationally and domestically - it’s a natural and much welcomed progression to add new members to our team,” said Mark Moussa, founder and creative director of Arteriors. “Jim, Ben and Kevin each bring extensive expertise to our team and will be key to our growth as we continue to broaden the Arteriors customer base.”
Bindman brings more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality space to Arteriors and will play the lead role in shaping the sales department of the Arteriors Contract division, actively servicing hospitality accounts and working to expand and elevate the custom contract capabilities program, which continues to be a growing division for the Arteriors brand. Prior to joining Arteriors, Bindman held a similar position with Coronet Lighting http://coronetlighting.com/ and comes out of retirement to join Arteriors.
Howard will take the lead in shaping and implementing the sales strategy for lighting showrooms and electrical distributors nationwide, continuing to expand Arteriors lighting presence in showrooms while also exposing existing and new customers to the Arteriors portfolio of furniture and décor items. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, distribution and logistics, Howard joins Arteriors following eight years in regional management with the Hunter Fan Co. where he was responsible for Hunter and Casablanca brands in lighting showrooms and electrical distributors.
As international sales manager, Reilly will be responsible for all sales outside of the U.S., working to expand a rapidly growing area of Arteriors business and coordinating the operations of the department across the globe. His first project will be managing Arteriors presence at Maison & Objet in Paris in late January 2015. Reilly joins Arteriors following five years as the founding president of Matsouka International. Prior to Matsouka International, Reilly spent eight years as director of international sales for the furniture division of Kohler Interiors.
