Carolina Mattress Guild Files Chapter 7

Mattress supplier Carolina Mattress Guild in Thomasville, N.C., has filed Chapter 7 liquidation with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Greensboro, N.C.
The filing lists the company’s assets at $1.7 million and debts of $5.9 million.
The secured creditors list shows Carolina Mattress Guild owes Future Foam $1.2 million. Other secured creditors include a number of banks and car loan companies.
The company was founded in 1991 by Kathy Grigg and Neal Grigg and has facilities in Thomasville near the Business 85 and National Highway interchange.
