Gift for Life, the gift and home industries' charitable organization, has partnered with Chavez for Charity, a fashion accessories company combining style with support of charitable causes.
Beginning Jan. 1, 25 percent of gross profit from the sales of Chavez for Charity’s Signature Collection black bracelets, black necklaces and earrings will support Gift for Life.
“Chavez for Charity was created to help a range of charitable causes that make a difference in people’s lives,” said Joe Cerbo, co-founder and CEO. “We jumped at the chance to support Gift for Life’s mission of funding HIV/AIDS service and education programs. We appreciate the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for this amazing volunteer organization and to recognize the positive impact they make in communities across the U.S.”
“We deeply appreciate Julie and Joe’s unique dedication to charitable causes and their tireless work ethic,” said Stu Teller, chairman of the Gift for Life board. “Chavez for Charity has quickly become a tremendous success story because of their leadership and vision.”
Since its founding in 2013, Chavez for Charity has raised more than $400,000 for select charitable causes. Its products are available in more than 2,000 leading stores in the United States, as well as online.
Each year, Gift for Life hosts events throughout the country benefitting DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. The primary mission of Gift for Life and DIFFA is to eradicate the AIDS pandemic in the United States.
