IMAX Expands Essentials by Connie Post

Essentials by Connie PostIMAX Worldwide Home has three new collections on tap for its Essentials by Connie Post merchandising concept.

Essentials is a collaboration between IMAX Worldwide Home and retail strategist Connie Post. Composed of fashion-driven colors and up-to-the-minute, trend-right products, Essentials collections provide all the elements necessary to freshen any space with professional panache.

The collections include color-coordinated clocks, candlesticks and seating, frames, florals, throw pillows, tables, mirrors and more, all designed for engaging and exciting consumers.

The new 2015 Essentials introductions include the following collections:
* Irresistible.
Connie Post dishes hard-to-resist cherries, raspberries and plums, all harvested from fashion’s runways for a delicious take on home décor in 2015. “Essentials collections have been expanded to include every detail necessary to complete a room, with new accent tables, clocks and fabulous upholstered stools that provide more options in accent seating,” Post said. “For a look that will rock the New Year, try a pair at the end of a bed for a fresh take on the bedroom bench.”

* Energetic.
“Here comes the sun! We’re emerging into the light in 2015,” Post said, “looking to inject our lives with a new energy that helps us make the most of every day. We all know color impacts our emotions. Decorating with vibrant oranges and yellows energizes both our space and our self, ushering in uplifting feelings and a positive outlook. With Energetic, these good vibrations we’re after extend well into the evenings, brightening up the night with glowing hurricanes, candlesticks and more fresh lighting ideas.”

* Reflective.
“From morning sun salutations to meditation apps on our smart phones, there’s a yen for going Zen,” Post said. “So many of us yearn to create serene spaces that we love to come home to, away from the hectic world in which we all live. The Reflective story draws on nature-inspired blues and greens to impart the refreshing feeling of a cool brook on a hot summer day. Mirrors bounce light around spaces accented with coordinating clocks that allow us to note the passage of time with a sense of calm. Of course, Essentials lamps, pillows and decorative accessories in blue and green hues pull a beautiful room together quickly and easily--giving us more time to retreat and reflect.”

IMAX sources home furnishings and accessories from 12 countries around the globe and is a leading supplier to the retail, e-commerce, wholesale, and hospitality industries.

Post is responsible for the look of more than 18 million square feet of retail and wholesale space around the globe.
