Mattress Firm Underwrites Stock Offering

The offering includes 2,185,130 shares of common stock by certain selling stockholders at $61.50 per share. The company’s stock closed Wednesday at $62.50 per share.

The stockholders have granted a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 327,769 share on the same terms and conditions.

The close date is expected to be Dec. 16.

Mattress Firm is not selling any shares of common stock in the proposed offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.

Barclays Capital Inc. is acting as book-running manager of the offering.
