Ethan Allen Relocates Vegas-Area Design Center

Vertically integrated furniture brand Ethan Allen relocated a Las Vegas-area Design Center Saturday.
The new, 9,000-square-foot location is in the upscale Downtown Summerlin shopping and entertainment destination; and has double the space of the prior location.
"This is an Ethan Allen some people may not recognize," said Ethan Allen Chairman, President and CEO Farooq Kathwari. "The products are relaxed and relevant to today's
lifestyles, the technology on the floor is state of the art, and the Design Center itself is where our customers live and play."
On display throughout the new Design Center are hundreds of all-new designs the brand calls "The Next Classics." There are wall-mounted touchscreen monitors where shoppers can explore the Ethan Allen line, and a comfortable design studio where they can work with professional designers, each of whom carries a tablet PC to facilitate the creative process.
"Our complimentary design services are a real differentiator for us," Kathwari said.
In addition to furniture, the Danbury, Conn.-based brand now extends to rugs, lighting, window treatments, collectible artwork, decorative accents and more.
"We offer our clients everything for the beautifully designed home," Kathwari said. "All of which is on display in our beautifully designed new home in Downtown Summerlin."
