Grubb Promoted at Wright Global Graphics

Kim GrubbMelonia StocknerSpencer LinebackMarketing and branding support specialist Wright Global Graphics has promoted Kim Grubb to vice president of sales, mattress division.

The move is part of the company’s strategic plan to deepen and strengthen Thomasville, N.C.-based Wright's sales force. Designed to offer a higher level of expertise to a consolidating industry, the restructuring aims to better serve customers and growing product offerings in the mattress sector.

Grubb started at WGG in 1988 as an administrative assistant and rose steadily through ranks into sales and then account management where she was responsible for working closely with existing clients and managing large teams. In her new role, she oversees all sales efforts related to the mattress market segment, managing a team of account executives, customer service associates, artists, project managers; and two new members of the WGG sales team, Melonia Stockner and Spencer Lineback.

Stockner, an industry veteran, has held an array of sales and marketing positions at Sealy over the past 13 years; more recently key account manager and team leader for the Florida and Texas regions. A former customer of Wright Global Graphics, Stockner joins the team as an account executive and will be responsible for the company’s Tempur-Sealy account.

Lineback joined the WGG sales team in 2013 where he worked on accounts across several of the company’s business units. In his new role, he will focus on sales to independent mattress manufacturers located in the eastern U.S. and Canada.

“Kim Grubb has been a part of the Wright family for over 25 years and has played an important role in our company’s growth,” said Senior Vice President of Business Development & Chairman of the Board Don Wright. :This promotion is part of an aggressive campaign to bring more depth to our sales team, allowing for greater delegation, enhanced client services and increased expertise that will ultimately produce a superior product unique to each customer. It also recognizes her wealth of knowledge and dedication to the bedding industry. We continue to see growth opportunities in the home furnishings industry--especially with the mattress manufacturers. More and more companies are looking for innovative branding solutions, such as top-of-bed, mobile marketing, and interactive POP, to promote product on a retail showroom floor.”
