The Postobello line of home furnishings is looking to make a comeback.
The line, which had been formerly licensed to Drexel Heritage through the end of 2012, is now partnered with All American Licensing & Management Group to create a line of case goods, upholstery and accessories.
Founded in 1995 by Jen Kates and her mother Jude Scarboro, Postobello offers classic, timeless designs. In addition to furniture design, the company has an interior design arm along with a real estate staging division.
“I’ve known and seen the impact of Postobello at retail and AALMG is thrilled to be partnering with Jen and the team to not only re-introduce the world to such an iconic brand, but to expand the brand with new pieces and new distribution while still maintaining the company’s mission of being strong, simple and timeless,” said Terry Immekus, a partner with AALMG.
All American plans to grown the line’s distribution as well as expand into new categories like linens, dinnerware and bath accessories.
“We are delighted to be working with the AALMG team,” Kates said. “They bring a wealth of experience to brand growth and expansion, and we’re very excited about their passion for the industry. We couldn’t be in better hands and as a result Postobello will have a more significant and positive impact.”
