Diane Abell has joined adjustable bed manufacturer Reverie in the newly created position of accessory product manager.
Abell, a 35-year industry veteran, is responsible for the bedding accessory program development and sales, initially including pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, and mattress pads, all to be marketed under the Reverie brand.
Abell comes to Reverie, Bloomfield Hills, Mi., from Latex International, where she most recently served as director of global pillow sales. Earlier in her career with the Talalay manufacture, she was director of component sales.
“We believe that Diane’s extensive knowledge in the bedding industry can help us grow a strong pillow and accessories program," said Reverie President and CEO Martin Rawls-Meehan. "She has a great track record in developing new businesses and training across many different platforms and programs, which makes her uniquely qualified for this role. We are thrilled at the opportunity to have Diane work with us.”
Abell is a graduate of Jefferson Community College in Louisville, Ky., where she received her degree in business management.
