FastFact: 3Q Industry Sales up 2.4%

Third quarter furniture and bedding sales are up 2.4 percent this year compared to the third quarter sales from last year.
The upward trend has been evident since the second quarter of 2014 showing a 1.1 percent increase.
Furniture, excluding bedding, climbed 1.9 percent in the third quarter this year compared with the third quarter of 2013. Bedding continues to outpace furniture with a quarter-to-quarter 4.9 percent increase in the third quarter this year over the third quarter of 2013.
