El Dorado Opens 13th Store

Home furnishings retailer El Dorado Furniture has moved into Fort Myers, Fla., opening its 13th store over the weekend.

The retailer’s 65,000-square-foot store features the company’s boulevard concept with its winding streetscape with lights, painted murals and park benches. The concept winds consumers through furniture collections, including interior and outdoor furnishings and the company’s newest modern offering, LIV.

The store opened Saturday with a grand opening celebration featuring entertainment, food and $150 gift cards for the first 150 families through the door.

Sunday, the retailer had a repeat performance and instead of gift cards, gave away 150 leather ottomans to the first 150 families to the celebration.

As part of the grand opening, El Dorado Furniture will be making a donation to the local non-profit organization, Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida.
