SHEEX Files Lawsuit Against BedGear

Bedding and sleepwear vendor SHEEX has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against another bedding source BedGear.
The lawsuit was filed Friday in the U.S. Federal District Court in Wilmington, Del.; and alleges that BedGear's Dri-Tec Performance Sheets infringe two SHEEX patents for fabric systems.
The inventions in these patents solved the technological challenges SHEEX, Irmo, S.C., faced by designing bed sheets made of high performance knit fabric. SHEEX uses its patented inventions in SHEEX performance sleep products.
"We take great pride in having invented, developed and patented our performance sleep bedding technology and will fight to protect the integrity of our brand patents," said Michelle Marciniak, co-founder and co-CEO of SHEEX.
