Smith Leonard Named a Top Accounting Workplace

The annual List of Best Accounting Firms comprises 100 firms throughout the nation in three different size categories. Industry specialties at Smith Leonard, High Point, include home furnishings--the company produces the monthly Furniture Insights survey of residential furniture manufacturers and distributors.
“This award recognizes that our employees are satisfied at work which translates into better client service and happy clients,” said Darlene Leonard, managing partner of Smith Leonard.
Smith Leonard has grown its staff by more than 40 percent since the company acquired the High Point BDO practice in 2007.

Smith Leonard primarily serves the Piedmont Triad through its headquarters in High Point and a second office in Lexington, NC, but the firm’s reach extends into other parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and beyond. The practice is an independent member of the BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned accounting and consulting firms.
