RH Baby & Child Gets Greenguard Gold

Greenguard Gold certified products release fewer pollutants into indoor environments. To certify the products, UL performed tests against the Greenguard standard in its Marietta, Ga., laboratory to confirm low emissions from a variety of products offered by RH Baby & Child.

“RH Baby & Child’s achievement sets a new precedent for retailers who sell household children’s furniture,” said Alberto Uggetti, vice president and general manager of UL’s Furniture Business division. “Retailers are recognizing the benefits of having their products tested for chemical emissions, and pursing third-party certification that their products are low-emitting.”

RH Baby & Child is the juvenile division of Restoration Hardware (NYSE: RH).
