Denver Mattress Supports Rescue Missions

2014 by in Community / Charitable Support, Industry
Denver Mattress Co., Denver, Colo., will match every dollar that is donated to one of the 69 missions across more than 30 states Nov. 1-30. Individual missions can receive up to $2,500 from DMC per market to support their efforts in assisting those in need. DMC's total matching donation is capped at $150,000. The missions can use the donations for the specific needs of their own community for necessities such as food, warm clothing, shelter, or assistance.
DMC supports donation efforts with an online media campaign using Web site banners ads, campaign landing pages designed to receive donations for each unique rescue mission, and the local promotion by AGRM members. Last year's efforts yielded $105,081 in local community support, which DMC matched to the full $150,000.
Founded in 1913, The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions represents more than 275 rescue missions across North America. Each year AGRM member ministries serve approximately 50 million meals, provide more than 25 million nights' lodging, distribute more than 30 million pieces of clothing, bandage the wounds of hundreds of abuse victims, and graduate more than 20,000 homeless men and women from addiction-recovery programs into productive living.
Denver Mattress Co. is a division of Furniture Row Cos., which operates 330 stores in 31 states.
