The Valparaiso, Ind., store now features a La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio and a Indiana Mattress.
The retailer took over 3,000 square feet that had been occupied by another retailer.
“There’s a whole new look to the store,” said Ashley Miller, president. “And there’s a much greater and fresher selection of furniture and mattresses in our showroom.”
The La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio features 5,000 square feet of space dedicated to the brand.
“La-Z-Boy products have been a customer favorite,” Miller said, “so we are very excited to be displaying a much larger selection of their products on our floor.
In addition to the La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio, the retailer features a 7,000-square-foot Flexsteel Gallery on one side and a newly re-merchandised Designer Gallery on the other, featuring customization options from Bernhardt, Simply Amish, Canadel, Smith Brothers and more.
In August, the company opened its 3,000-square-foot Indiana Mattress store adjacent to its flagship store.
“We were very pleased to open Indiana Mattress because it features the latest in sleep technology, and what we feel are the best products available today in sleep,” Miller said.
Indiana Furniture and Mattress opened in the 1970s as a warehouse style retailer.
