Art Van to Cut Ribbon at Indiana Store

Art Van Furniture will host a ribbon-cutting at its new Mishawaka, Ind., store next Tuesdayat 4:30 p.m.
The former Sofa Select store, located at 5946 North Grape Rd. near the University Park Mall, is owned by Tom and Rose Eslinger, and is the Warren, Mi.-based retailers first outside its home state. Members of Art Van Furniture’s leadership team and local dignitaries will be in attendance. The event is open to the public.
Art Van currently has seven Michigan franchise locations in Alpena, Mount Pleasant, Midland, Marquette, Sault Sainte Marie, Owosso and Gaylord, with two additional franchises set to open in the state in 2014.
"This is a terrific opportunity for us to meet our northern Indiana guests,” said Kim Yost, CEO of Art Van Furniture. “Tom and Rose Eslinger have been serving families in the area for over three decades, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many more.”
The store features a wide variety of furniture collections, including Cindy Crawford Home, La-Z-Boy, Gascho and Broyhill. Its Art Van PureSleep department uses science to fit guests with the proper bed, pillow and protector for a great night’s sleep from today’s top bedding manufacturers such as Sealy, Simmons, Tempurpedic, Serta, Stearns and Foster and King Koil.
“Having the ability to offer the largest furniture selection in town is a thrill for Rose and me,” said Tom Eslinger.
