South Cone Names Papadakis VP of Sales

Papadakis, formerly vice president of sales for Powell Co., brings long experience in the area of promotional and mid-priced case goods and upholstery products.

"I have personally known Mike Papadakis for many years and I know he is the perfect person for the job," said South Cone CEO Mario Scolari. "Mike and I share common values and passion around this industry and I strongly believe he will be an incredible asset for our company.

"Mike is joining our company at a time where we have more than tripled our sales year over year and have become a significant player in the internet furniture business. Mike joins as the leader of our retail sales team and his primary role will be to develop long term relationships with strategic brick and mortar partners."

South Cone, San Diego, owns and operates one of the largest furniture factories in Tijuana, Mexico, where it specializes in high quality mid-priced case goods and upholstery products. Its product line includes more than 1,000 different models.
