Picture Source Names Marks Chief Visionary Officer

Wall art supplier Picture Source has named Julia Marks chief visionary officer, a new position within the company.
In her new position, Marks will set the company’s strategic and creative course, and oversee general operations. She joined Picture Source in 2003 as an art consultant specializing in hospitality sales. Her most recent work for the company included sales management, marketing, mentoring, product line development and branding.
She is the international past president of NEWH, Inc., a not-for-profit organization providing scholarships to students in the hospitality industry and networking opportunities to industry professionals.
“We are just thrilled that Julia agreed to be our CVO and lead Picture Source into a new era of growth and expansion,” said John Hoyt, president and owner of Picture Source. “Her enthusiasm and talent are remarkable.” Hoyt will continue to focus on national sales, markets and product design.
Prior to re-joining Picture Source Marks was president of Dossee, a virtual catalog of unique interior products for the hospitality industry, purchasing agents and interior designers.
