11 Vietnamese Manufacturers to Show in High Point

Vietrade, the international trade development arm of the Vietnamese government, has selected 11 manufacturers to exhibit at the upcoming High Point Furniture Market.

The exhibit gives the opportunity to North American buyers to access one of the fastest growing sourcing destinations in the world, while streamlining their selection process of top quality woodworking and handmade home accessories suppliers. The showcase is intended to reach retailers, wholesalers, distributors and outsourcing managers interested in purchasing dining and bedroom sets, occasional pieces, outdoor furniture, decor objects and more, directly from the producers.

“Vietnam is very proud to have a presence at the High Point Market for the third consecutive year,” said Bui Thi Thanh An, deputy director general of Vietrade. “We continue to meet and support more and more buyers who want to connect with factories in Vietnam that are ready to export to the U.S.”

According to the statistics from the Vietnamese General Department of Customs, the U.S. market continues to top the list of exports of wood products from Vietnam. The U.S. purchased more than $2 billion worth of Vietnamese wood products in 2013, up 12.2 percent compared to 2012.

Exhibiting Vietnamese companies include: Gia Nhien Co.; Gia Long Fine Arts; Hiep Long Fine Furniture; Ho Nai Co.; Huong Nga Fine Arts; Kien Phuc; Lotus Handicraft; Nguyen Thanh Furniture Co.; Tan Toan Phat Pottery & Furniture Co.; Thien Thuong Trading; and Truong Thanh Furniture.
