Stefanie Lucas has been named CEO of seven-store home furnishings retailer Boston Interiors succeeding Ken Loring, chairman and founder of the company.
Loring is relinquishing the CEO title and will continue to sit on the company's board of advisors.
Prior to joining Boston Interiors, Lucas was president of HTL Furniture's North American business. Prior to her tenure at HTL she served as president and CEO of upholstery supplier Rowe Furniture.
Before joining Rowe, Lucas spent many years with Reebok International where she ultimately served as vice president of global marketing for that company’s Rockport division and developed and managed distribution and brand marketing initiatives in 29 countries. Earlier in her career, Lucas was director of marketing at women's fashion chain Chico’s Casual Clothing.
“We are very fortunate to have found and hired such an experienced CEO with an impressive background in both the retail and wholesale furniture business,” Loring said. “We feel Stefanie has the talent and skill to guide the company over many years and to build on our success to date.”
Boston Interiors is a privately-held, family-owned furniture retailer with stores in Eastern Massachusetts.
