Manning Joins Latex International as VP

Manning, who reports to Executive Vice President of Component and Direct-to-Retail Sales Ken Hinman, is responsible for working with existing customers to development new programs and strategies, as well as opening new sales channels.

Manning joins the Shelton, Conn.-based company with extensive sales experience in consumer products and business-to-business markets. He started his career in 2010 at foam manufacturer FXI as a technical product inside sales representative. In 2011, he was promoted to account manager of the southeast region. Under his leadership, company revenues in that area grew 600 percent over two years.

“We are thrilled Dan has joined the company because his prior experience selling specialty bedding components is an asset to the company,” said Hinman. "He understands the nuances of our business and knows first hand how incorporating innovative materials into the different layers of a sleep product can add to the comfort and value of a mattress, topper, or pillow. Coming off a strong third quarter Dan adds extra management muscle to our team at an important time for us.”

Manning received his bachelor’s degree from Arcadia University, where he majored in business administration and marketing. He currently resides in Huntersville, N.C.
