Lochhead to Manage Toronto Bassett Licensee

Toronto-based Bassett Home Furnishings, a licensed retailer of Bassett Furniture Inds., has named Jack Lochhead general manager for Canadian operations.
"With the appointment of Jack to the position of general manager, Bassett is now positioned to provide customer service without compromise," said Bassett Home Furnishings President Travis Braithwaite. "That is how we will become the premier destination for the Great Toronto Area's furniture, lighting and accessory needs."
Lochhead holds a Diploma in Interior Design from Durham College and has lengthy experience in retail merchandise, design and operational management. Most recently he was general manager for Ridpath's Fine Furniture in Toronto.

At Bassett, Lochhead will work with the design team to enhance the overall customer experience through a complimentary design service; build upon the strong brand reputation of the HGTV collections and the design expertise provided by the HGTV HOME Design Studio located at each Bassett Home Furnishings retail location; and facilitate creative relationships with the Bassett customer to ensure exceptional design and an overall assurance that with each purchase the Bassett client is investing in a quality product.
Bassett Home Furnishings, a licensed retailer of Bassett Furniture, serves the Toronto with two locations: at 1751 Victoria St. East in Whitby; and 255 Bass Pro Mills Dr. in Vaughan.
