Decorating Den IT Director off to SpiceWorld

Decorating Den Interiors Information Technology Director Charles Wood has received a scholarship to attend the worldwide SpiceWorld conference for IT professionals.
He was provided with conference registration, hotel expense and travel costs to Austin, Texas, by scholarship sponsor LifeSize, a provider of high-definition video-conferencing services.
Wood was chosen based on his leadership and technological expertise in managing a wide variety of technical services for his company’s interior design professional franchisees. He also instructs new owners on the range of internet and intranet services they are provided for their business management and communication.
Most recently, he played a major role in the development of the company’s new corporate Web site and redesigned local sites for each of its more than 300 franchisees; a voting site for its worldwide interior design competition; and its pioneering use of technology.
“In the six years C.J. has been with us, he has played a significant role in implementing new technology that gives our design professionals a competitive edge in their business management,” said Jim Bugg Jr, president and chief executive officer of Decorating Den Interiors.
Spiceworld Austin was created by Spiceworks, a company that provides a free IT web-app and online community of more than 5 million information technology professionals.
