O'Keefe to Lead AHFA Membership Development

The American Home Furnishings Alliance has named Mary O’Keefe to the position of director of sales, a new position.

“We have brought Mary on board to help us continue the momentum of membership growth we have experienced so far in 2014,” said CEO Andy Counts. “She will be a great asset in this new sales leadership role.”

O’Keeffe’s membership development efforts will be divided among AHFA and its affiliates, the International Casual Furnishings Association, the Solution Partners division (formerly the Suppliers Division) and the Specialized Furniture Carriers.

Over an 11-year career with HÅG Inc., a Norwegian commercial seating company with its U.S. headquarters in Greensboro, N.C., O’Keeffe advanced through various customer service roles to become director of customer service and sales. In 2000, she joined Senator Promotional Group USA, a leading manufacturer of promotional products, as customer service manager. She continued work in the advertising specialty industry for several years, marketing and selling promotional merchandise to financial institutions, the furniture and healthcare industries, restaurants, hotels and Fortune 500 companies.

O’Keeffe is a graduate of High Point University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial/organization psychology.
