Bill Sibbick Joins YDI—Your Direct Imports

In his new position, Sibbick will manage the sales function including key and national accounts.

“I am pleased to have someone of Bill’s caliber and experience to handle the sales side of our business,” said Phil Hood, owner of YDI.

Prior to joining YDI, Sibbick was senior vice president of sales and marketing for A.R.T. Furniture. He left the company in the spring. Prior to his time with A.R.T., Sibbick held sales management positions with Pulaski and Stanley Furniture. 

YDI sources all product from Vietnam and currently sells bedroom, casual dining room, occasional tables and entertainment.  

“I was impressed with YDI’s business model,” Sibbick said. “The product quality, designs and finishes are excellent. Retailers can address price points, with all product categories, that will appeal to a broad cross section of the marketplace.” 

YDI’s has a freestanding showroom in High Point at 315 W. Russell Avenue. Shuttle service is available to and from the showroom during High Point Market.
