The North American Home Furnishings Association and Internet marketing services vendor MicroD will host a workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at MicroD’s corporate office in Charlotte, N.C.

The day will include workshops on technology trends and updates, networking opportunities, lunch and a tour of Havertys' Smith Corners showroom, led by Havertys' regional manager, John Gross. The host committee for this NAHFA Southern regional meeting includes David Gardner, Warrenton Furniture Exchange; Blake Maynard, Maynard’s Home Furnishings; Dianne Ray, Garden City Furniture; and Woody Whichard, Midtown Furniture Superstore.

“Technology continues to be one of our most important topics of discussion,” said NAHFA’s executive vice president, Mary Frye. “Whenever and however we can get groups of retailers and industry experts together to share ideas and further the discussion it’s good for our members and it’s good for their business.”

NAHFA sponsors and hosts regional events such as this to gather local retailers for educational opportunities and networking. For additional information, call 800.422.3778; e-mail; or visit nahfa.org for additional information.
