Visual Comfort Teams with Niermann Weeks

The new lighting collection will debut at the Oct. 18-23 High Point Furniture Market in Houston-based Visual Comfort's showroom, C&D Building, Suites 2G and 2J.

Visual Comfort’s Niermann Weeks collection will feature more than 25 signature designs comprised of ceiling fixtures, wall sconces, table and floor lamps. Each piece is hand-crafted and features rich finishes and textures including Venetian silver, Venetian gold, brass, iron, and wood along with other Visual Comfort signature finishes.

“We are thrilled to partner with Visual Comfort, an industry veteran that has an impeccable reputation in lighting design and manufacturing," said Justin Binnix, president of Niermann Weeks, Annapolis, Md. "This will allow designers to extend their vision into every room and enable us to reach a much larger audience. Keeping the design integrity and authentic hand-made appeal is equally important to us and to our customers. Visual Comfort is the perfect partner to recreate the authenticity of our handcrafted designs and finishes.”

For several decades, Niermann Weeks has been recognized for award winning designs including custom-made furniture, upholstery, lighting and accessories. Niermann Weeks will continue to design and produce handcrafted home furnishings in its Maryland studios.

A cocktail reception to celebrate the new line and meet the Niermann Weeks design team will be held in the Visual Comfort Showroom on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2-3 p.m.

The new Niermann Weeks lighting will be available to consumers in summer 2015.
