Langdon's column debuts in the September issue of House Beautiful, which also includes a new look that brings color to the front and reorganizes the overall flow to create an even more accessible experience to get readers on their way to a beautiful home and beautiful life.
"Everything our readers love about House Beautiful is still here, but we're excited to bring a new look," said Editor in Chief Newell Turner. "We've taken what we have heard from our avid readers and created a new flow to give them an even better experience. The best part is that in the process of updating our look, we've created space for even more features and content. The result is a dynamic magazine that we hope will continue to inspire, advise and entertain."
In her column, titled "Libby's Makeover," Langdon will tackle one area of the home each month to offer quick ideas for easy decorating.
"Part of the fun for me in writing my column is to give real design tips and tactics that readers can use in their own homes, often times with items they may already have," said Langdon. "It's an amazing opportunity to be able to share my ideas for interiors on the pages of House Beautiful. With its new look, I think people of all ages will see the magazine as a go-to resource for stylish ways to bring fabulous design into their spaces."
House Beautiful joined Langdon for a special episode of her TV show, Daykeover with Libby Langdon, where she transformed her client's home in less than 12 hours, providing unique design tips and takeaways. The home was featured on the cover of House Beautiful's December/January 2014 issue.
House Beautiful also will sponsor the Libby Langdon Lighting for Crystorama launch party at the October 2014 High Point Furniture Market. Langdon will show her collections of hanging chandeliers, wall sconces and ceiling mount fixtures reflecting her "easy, elegant, everyday" signature style along with her upholstered furniture collection and introductions at the Braxton Culler showroom.
