Reverie Partners with National Pro Grid League

Reverie, supplier of adjustable beds, partnered with the newly created National Pro Grid League to promote the value of sleep as part of a training program.

The inaugural 2014 season of the “Grid Games” showcases the nation’s finest athletes employing a combination of functional strength, strategy and finesse in order to complete grueling physical challenges. The official sleep and recovery sponsor of the NPGL New York Rhinos, Reverie co unveiled its “Reverie Recovery Lounge” at a match between the Rhinos and the Los Angeles Reign at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

The partnership is forged from a larger vision of Martin Rawls-Meehan, Reverie president and CEO. Rawls-Meehan, avid athlete himself, wants to raise awareness about the important role sleep and recovery play in training and overall wellbeing. The lounge offered both teams the opportunity to rest and recover on Reverie’s Dream Supreme Sleep System before, during and after the games.

“The purpose of the Recovery Lounge is to highlight how critical recovery is to athletic performance," Rawls-Meehan said. "These elite Grid athletes devote a lot of time and effort to proper nutrition and exercise. We want to spark meaningful conversations with them on the role that sleep – especially customized, quality sleep – plays in their performance and recovery. We’ve long been proponents of the science behind sleep and its value as part of a rounded training protocol and a healthy lifestyle. We’re excited to partner with an organization that exemplifies the very best in fitness.”
