American Furniture Warehouse Opens New Store

American Furniture Warehouse has opened its 600,000-square-foot store in Glendale, Ariz.
There wasn't any need for a grand, grand opening for the mega furniture warehouse. When the doors opened, the people swarmed in. Some came to browse, while others bought sofas and other items.
American Furniture Warehouse is at 5801 N. 99th Ave. The big retailer has a 600,000-square-foot facility and is estimated to employee 300 employees. It will contribute an estimated $2.5 million annually in sales tax. The City of Glendale waived $225,000 in development fees for the furniture retailer in early 2014.
American Furniture Warehouse has 14 locations; 12 in Colorado and two in Arizona.
