Englander Signs India Licensee

The license agreement with SA Bedding, a well-established mattress producer, enables the company to manufacture and market Englander bedding products across all of India.

SA Bedding currently produces 10,000 mattresses a month from its four facilities in Noida, which is near Delhi; Pune, located near the city of Mumbai, which is on the country’s east coast; Bangalore in south central India; and Kolkata, near Bangladesh to the east.  

“We’re very pleased to add SA Bedding, headed by CEO and Director Ashok Sharma, to our international licensing organization,” said Kevin Toman, Englander president and CEO. “Mr. Sharma is a respected bedding professional from the Middle East and India, and we look forward to his company’s success in establishing the Englander brand in one of the most progressive countries in Southeast Asia.”

With the addition of SA Bedding Company, Englander, Olive Branch, Miss., now licenses nine producers operating a total of 14 mattress factories overseas. 

The company markets a number of specialty brands including Nature’s Finest Latex Sleep Systems, ViscoPedic memory foam beds, Synergy, a line that combines advanced visco foam with natural latex, and the Egel series.
