Mountain Air Highlights Specialty Bedding Growth

To help dealers capitalize on this rapidly growing segment, Mountain Air Organic Beds will be answering questions at their Tupelo Market booth, space 4149B.

Mountain Air Organic Beds Owner Joyce Robertson said the upward trend in specialty mattress sales is no surprise to her.

“I was inspired to start Mountain Air Organic Beds because I talked to so many people who were frustrated with years of sleeping on unhealthy, uncomfortable, traditional mattresses,” she said. “The problem with traditional mattresses is that they're made with petrochemicals, formaldehyde and glues, which can trigger allergies in some people. Synthetic latex also breaks down quickly, leading to sagging and soft spots in a mattress.”

Mountain Air Organic Beds' mattresses are made with all-natural latex.

“Our mattresses are made from things found in nature, not in some chemical plant,” Robertson said. “We use all-natural latex from the rubber tree, and our casings are made from organic cotton and wool.”

In addition to filling a need for customizable, all-natural latex mattresses, Mountain Air Organic Beds is also a Service Disabled Veteran Small Business, and the only organic mattress manufacturer in the mid-west and southern United States.
