MaxLite Names Shaskan VP of Operations

Energy-efficient lighting solutions vendor MaxLite has named Paul Shaskan vice president of operations, a new position.

Shaskan will oversee the expansion of assembly and production lines at the company’s West Caldwell, N.J., headquarters and new facility in Anaheim, Calif., as well as manage global operations, including logistics, quality control and warranty service, at MaxLite offices in China and Korea. Shaskan reports to MaxLite General Manager Todd Kim.
 
“Paul’s extensive lighting industry experience and impressive track record of optimizing production and assembly operations, will be tremendous assets during this exciting period of growth for MaxLite,” said President and CEO Yon Sung. “We are pleased to welcome Paul on board. Paul will play an integral role in our company-wide efforts to position MaxLite as one of the easiest companies to work with in the industry.”
 
Prior to joining MaxLite, Shaskan was vice president of operations at Amerlux and director of operations at Zumbotel Lighting. He previously held positions in engineering and production management at PortaSystems and Breed Technologies. Shaskan earned a B.A. in mechanical engineering from Union College and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program.
