Las Vegas Market Names Speakers for CEO Summit

The first three speakers for the third annual CEO Summit at the January Las Vegas Market have been confirmed.
Financial industry expert Ron Insana, senior analyst with CNBC, will present the keynote address, while Steven Baker, vice president, The Great Game of Business, and Tom V. Morris, chairman, Morris Institute for Human Values, have also been confirmed as speakers.
The summit is set for Tuesday, Jan. 20 and Wednesday, Jan. 21. The winter market is set for Sunday, Jan. 18 until Thursday, Jan. 22. The summit will address businesses issues that are important to industry executives including presentations on financial, operational and global subjects by some of the nation’s foremost visionary speakers.
The market has also added five sponsors to the summit's roster, including Surya, Ivystone, The Fisher Group-UBS, UMA Enterprises and VRA Partners.

Keynote speaker Ron Insana is a senior analyst for CNBC and a contributor to MSNBC, where he discusses the most pressing economic issues of the day. He has written for Money magazine and USA Today and has hosted two nationally syndicated radio programs. Insana is well known for his high-profile interviews, which have included Presidents Clinton and Bush, billionaire investors Warren Buffet, George Soros, Julian Robertson, as well as industry leaders Bill Gates, Jack Welch and the late Steve Jobs. Insana was named one of the “Top 100 Business News Journalists of the 20th Century” and was nominated for a news and documentary Emmy for his role in NBC’s coverage of 9/11. He has authored four books on Wall Street and is a highly regarded lecturer on domestic and global economics, financial markets and economic policy issues.
Steven Baker, vice president, The Great Game of Business, Inc., a division of employee-owned SRC Holdings Corporation, is known for his high energy and engaging message. Inspirational speaker Tom V. Morris, chairman of the Morris Institute for Human Values, has become one of the most active public philosophers in the world due to his unusual ability to bring the greatest wisdom of the past into the challenges of the present. A native of Durham, NC, and a Distinguished Alumnus of Durham Academy, Morris was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, which has honored him, as a recipient of its Distinguished Young Alumnus Award. He holds a Ph.D. in both Philosophy and Religious Studies from Yale University, as well as other, honorary doctorates.
