Furniture Wizard Launches New POS Technology

Technology vendor Furniture Wizard has just launched an iPad inventory application and a touch-screen kiosk application.

“Our goal has always been and still is to create intelligent software solutions that any store is able to afford.” said Martin Fischbein, founder and president of Furniture Wizard, Chula Vista, Calif. “To enhance the consumer experience at retail is crucial for a retailer to succeed in today’s environment.”

The first new product is an iPad application called iFurniture Inventory. The laborious process of taking physical inventory now can be done with the power of a bluetooth scanner and an iPad. Just like the iFurniture point of sale application makes the sales process more efficient the use of technology makes the inventory process more efficient and effective. Scan your inventory and compare it to what you expected to have in stock on the showroom floor or your warehouse. Have the pictures immediately available to help locate those hard to find items. Track down unscanned or missing items quickly by being able to review the scan lists and adjust the scanned quantity.

A Windows 8 touch enabled program called Ultimate Point of Sale is the second addition to the Furniture Wizard suite. A large format, digital, super catalog that can easily be set up to intelligently suggest add on items as a shopping cart is being reviewed; this can be a powerful silent salesperson. The Ultimate Point of Sale application now offers both a Kiosk mode and desktop mode.
