Latex International Names Hinman EVP

In this newly created position, Hinman is responsible for overseeing the sales operations and marketing for Latex International, Pure LatexBliss and the company’s RejuveNite brand. He reports to Latex International president and CEO Dave Fisher.

With more than 30 years experience in the luxury consumer durables category, including six years in the mattress industry, Hinman has experience in sales leadership, retailer relations, product development, strategic marketing and management. Most recently, he was senior vice president at Jamison Bedding. Prior to that position, Hinman held senior sales positions at Hartmann Luggage and Elizabeth Arden Fragrances.

“We have been aiming to put our sales force under one umbrella for several years," Fisher said. "I met and was very impressed with Ken during his time at Jamison where we worked together to develop several new products featuring the benefits of Talalay latex. One of Ken’s first objectives will be to find and recruit more sales talent. Along with his passion for branding, creating superior product, sales organization leadership and marketing, he brings great insights to our senior management team.”

Hinman is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

In conjunction with the announcement, E.B. Walthall, who was vice president of sales for Pure LatexBliss, announced his resignation.

“E.B. has been an important part of the Latex International team for over two years," Fisher said. "The timing of his resignation expedited our plan to implement a redesigned, consolidated sales force under Ken. We are grateful to E.B. for his commitment and dedication to our company over the past few years and want to wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
