Naturepedic Takes Crib Mattress Awards

Certified organic mattress manufacturer Naturepedic recently won a 2014 “Cribsie” Better Living Award, a 2014 Motherhood in Progress Best Nursery Products Award, and two 2014 Reader’s Favorite Choice Awards from Baby & Children's Product News in the categories of Mattresses and Green Products.
Naturepedic, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, focuses on overall health and safety in all forms. Mattresses are manufactured specifically for chemical, hygienic, physical design, flame and allergenic safety. For example, all crib mattresses pass flammability standards without the need for flame retardants or other flame barriers, are waterproof without PFCs or phthalates, and have reinforced sides for when baby begins to stand. Additionally, crib mattresses are made without potentially allergenic wool or latex and use certified organic cotton fill and fabric grown without GMOs or synthetic pesticides. All crib mattresses are independently certified to the organic and non-toxic standards of the stringent Global Organic Textile Standard.
