Attorney General Settles with Gill's Furniture

The case against the owner of Gill's Furniture needed no couching at all from Washington's Attorney General's Office.

“They never returned people's money and they never delivered any furniture,” said AG lawyer Sarah Shifley.

Shifley said this all started when at least 40 customers spent thousands of dollars on new furniture at Gill's furniture. Later, store owner Loren Gill closed up shop. Soon after, his brother Joe Gill reopened at the same building and renamed the business MFC furniture. When some customers would ask about their furniture they bought from Gill's Furniture, they were told their money and items were gone for good.
