Nominations open for ARTS Awards

The ARTS Awards, presented each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, recognizes top manufacturers, retailers, designers and sales representatives from across the world. The 26th annual ARTS winners will be revealed during a gala event on Friday, Jan. 16, and will recognize excellence in 27 different categories.

“This year, Interior Designer will be added to the prestigious list of award categories, recognizing this multifaceted profession of conceptual development, project management and execution,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “This highly-respected field is brimming with talent and of great importance to our industry.”

Anyone in the home furnishings industry may nominate in all categories. Neither membership in ART nor representation at Dallas Market Center is necessary. The nomination deadline is Aug. 1, 2014. Submit nominations online now.

The awards categories for manufacturers include: Accent Furniture, Area Rugs, Green Award, Home Accents, Home Textiles, Lighting Fixtures, Outdoor Living, Portable Lamps, Tabletop and Wall Decor.

Retailer awards include: International Retailer, Furniture Store, Lighting Showroom, Home Accent Store and Outdoor Lifestyle Store.

Individual awards include: Rising Star, Sales Representative, Product Designer, Interior Designer and Academy of Achievement.
