Ekornes Names New CEO

Norwegian upholstery supplier Ekornes (EKRNF) has named a new CEO set to take over later this year.
Olav Holst-Dyrnes, current CEO of Havfisk ASA, an ocean trawler company, will take his new post no later than Dec. 1.
Holst-Dyrnes will succeed Nils-Fredrik Drabløs, who will remain CEO until Holst-Dyrnes comes on board.
As CEO of Havfisk, Holst-Dyrnes has helped improve efficiency, boost financial performance and implement strategic changes across the organization. His background includes six years as sourcing manager for infant products and juvenile furniture supplier Stokke.
The Ekornes board of directors sought out a goal-oriented executive with a track record implementing change.
