His responsibilities encompass all aspects of Theodore Alexander’s manufacturing processes in Vietnam, including the main factory in Ho Chi Minh City; and the foundry, upholstery, procurement, sourcing, costing, process engineering and quality control functions.
Harold takes over the position from Edward Carey, who is leaving the company to explore other interests.
Harold holds a degree in furniture manufacturing and management from North Carolina State University, and has more than 35 years of manufacturing experience within the furniture industry. Most recently, Harold was vice president of operations at Stanley Furniture.
He said he “looks forward to working with the entire Theodore Alexander organization to enhance the customer value of their exceptional products.”
Harold will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the location of Theodore Alexander’s manufacturing operations and global headquarters.
“We are delighted to welcome Bob Harold to the Theodore Alexander family," Dondero said. "His skills in process evaluation and wood manufacturing make him uniquely suited to this complex role.”
