Bob's Discount Furniture Names Sr. VP of Real Estate

With more than 25 years of retail real estate management and private equity experience, Day will manage the retailer's store expansion, including its newest location in Freehold, N.J. Day was most recently senior vice president of retail services with New York-based Coventry Real Estate Advisors, an independent retail real estate investment management firm.

Previously senior vice president of real estate with The Sports Authority where he developed and managed the real estate department for the chain’s more than 400 stores nationwide. He is credited with annual new store growth of 24 to 40 locations throughout the country. Earlier in his career he was director of real estate with Bed Bath & Beyond, Sony/Loews Theatres, and Staples, Inc. He began his retail and commercial real estate career with Cushman & Wakefield.
