Retail technology supplier Storis has been named the best place to work in New Jersey for small to mid-sized businesses.
The NJBiz magazine's Best Places to Work program identifies the state's top 100 employers. The rankings were announced last week.
Storis was measured against businesses in a variety of industries.
“This award reflects the character of Storis employees and our work environment," said Don Surdoval, CEO. "Many of our practices emerged from interactions and experience with our clients—leaders in both employee and consumer satisfaction.”
The 100 companies honored companies were divided into two groups. Sixty-two small to mid-sized companies and 32 large companies vied for the honor.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. Part one, worth 25 percent of the evaluation, consisted of evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. Part two, worth 75 percent of the total, was an employee engagement and satisfaction survey to measure the employee experience. Directed by the Best Companies Group, the analysis of the combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
