Hooker Furniture Execs Get Raises

Hooker Furniture Corp. gave its key management salary increases, according to a regulatory filing.
Hooker Furniture Corp. said in a regulatory filing that Paul Toms Jr., its chairman and chief executive, received a 2.6 percent raise in salary to $370,082 in 2013.
However, Toms’ overall compensation fell 39.6 percent. He was not made eligible for stock awards in 2013 after being made eligible for stock awards valued at $438,000 on the date they were awarded in 2012.
